Terms and Conditions

DJ Explore Travel and Tours Terms and Conditions The following terms and conditions apply to all tours organized by DJ Explore Travel and Tours. Please read and understand the following terms and conditions:

Making a Booking

1. Booking refers to the reservation of a tour package from DJ Explore Travel and Tours for a scheduled date/s.
2. By making a booking, the customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set by DJ Explore Travel and Tours.
3. A booking is confirmed with DJ Explore Travel and Tours if the customer pays at least 50% of the total amount due (please see Deposits and Payment for more details.).
4. The customer is responsible for providing correct details for the tour. The customer must contact and notify DJ Explore  Travel and Tours immediately for any changes, revisions, corrections, and updates with the booking details.
5. A booking confirmation can be requested from DJ Explore  Travel and Tours, free of charge, for documentation purposes and acknowledgement of the customer’s initial payment.
6. Inability to pay the down payment automatically forfeits the booking of the customer.
7. The customer will be liable or responsible for any arrangements not made with DJ Explore Travel and Tours.

Deposits and Payment

1. Down payment refers to the initial payment that enables DJ Explore Travel and Tours to hold a reservation of tour package for the customer.
2. Down payment should be paid before the scheduled tour.
3. Paying the down payment means that the customer agrees with and accepts the terms and conditions indicated by DJ Explore Travel and Tours.
4. Only bookings with down payment of at least 50% of the total amount due are considered as confirmed bookings.
5. Payment can be accepted through bank deposits (Gcash and RCBC) and money remittance centers (e.g. M Lhuillier, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Padala). Please pay with the accredited payment options only.
6. Proof of payment should be sent to DJ Explore Travel and Tours via e-mail ( djexploretravelandtours@gmail.com ) or via Facebook (www.facebook.com/djexploretravelandtours ).
7. The remaining balance of the total amount due should be paid via bank transfer or gcash before the actual tour commences.

Package Details and Prices

1. Tour package details posted in the Facebook page and website of DJ Explore Travel and Tours will include all the inclusions and exclusions of the package. The customer has the responsibility to read the details carefully to avoid any confusion.
2. Prices posted in the Facebook page DJ Explore Travel and Tours and the website may increase without further notice. Any confirmed bookings made before the prices were adjusted will be notified.
3. A booking is confirmed when a down payment is received. Prices of the tour packages are subject to change until a down payment has been paid.
4. Price of a confirmed booking cannot be changed in relation to any promos/price adjustments that may become available after the down payment has been paid, given that the promo price is lower than the price of the package when the booking has been confirmed.
5. Itineraries posted in the Facebook page and website of DJ Explore Travel and Tours are intended to provide the customer a general idea of the scheduled tour. Factors such as safety concerns, prevailing conditions, or unforeseen circumstances, over which DJ Explore Travel and Tours has no control, may result in itinerary amendments of the actual tour. DJ Explore Travel and Tours reserves the right to change any part of the itinerary in the interest of customer’s comfort and safety.
6. DJ Explore Travel and Tours reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on the Facebook page, the website, and/or confirmed bookings made under an incorrect price. 
7. DJ Explore Travel and Tours reserves the right to not disclose the breakdown of the costs of the tour packages for business discretion and privacy reasons.
8. If the tour package includes accommodation, the standard hotel check-in is 2:00pm and standard hotel check-out is 12:00pm (can vary depending on hotel policy).
9. The accommodation for the tour package is not reserved until the customer has paid the down payment.

Cancelation of Bookings and Refunds

1. A pro-rated or partial refund for the down payment will be issued if the tour is canceled at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the tour. The amount of the refund will be calculated based on the tour package and the remaining days before the tour.
2. DJ Explore Travel and Tours reserves a right to not grant a refund if cancellation of the tour is made within less than fourteen (14) calendar days before the scheduled date of the tour.
3. An option to rebook the tour package into different travel dates may be available, depending on the reason for cancellation. DJ Explore Travel and Tours reserves the right to decide if a tour package is eligible for rebooking (Charges may apply).
4. There is a possibility that some of the destinations/activities (e.g. Oslob Whaleshark Watching, Pescador Island hopping, Sumilon Sandbar) may not be available during the tour due to unpredictable nature, inclement weather, and other environmental factors that are beyond the control of DJ Explore Travel and Tours. There will be no refund on the transportation charges.
5. All accommodation, if included in the tour package, is prepaid. DJ Explore Travel and Tours do not bear responsibility to refund unused accommodation, including those resulting from delayed check-in or early check-out.
6. No refund will be issued once the tour has commenced.
7. No refund will be issued for no-show or on-the-spot cancellation.

Liabilities and Limitations

1. DJ Explore Travel and Tours will not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to the customer’s property arising from causes beyond DJ Explore Travel and Tour’s control. All baggage and personal property at all times are at the customer’s risk.
2. DJ Explore  Travel and Tours will not be responsible for any alterations in the tour– directly or indirectly – due to acts of God, natural hazards, flight delays or cancellations, accidents, weather, sickness, landslides, political disturbances, or any untoward incidents.
3. DJ Explore Travel and Tours will  not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property resulting – directly or indirectly – from any causes beyond the control of  DJ Explore Travel and Tours as mentioned above.
4. In the event of occurrence of unforeseen circumstances, DJ Explore Travel and Tours will extend necessary help and assistance to the customer for the best actions, options, and decisions to take. DJ Explore Travel and Tours will not be responsible for any additional costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances as mentioned above.
5. DJ Explore Travel and Tours will assume accountability if it is found liable for any loss or damage occurred during the tour.

Complaints: If there are problems, concerns, and feedback that the customer would like to bring up to DJ Explore Travel and Tours, please immediately contact DJ Explore Travel and Tours through its Facebook page, e-mail, or mobile number. DJ Explore Travel and Tours will not be liable for any compensation for a problem which could be rectified during the tour, has the DJ Explore Travel and Tours been aware of it.

Privacy Policy DJ Explore Travel and Tours will not disclose any personal details of the customer except for the purpose of providing services to the customer as indicated in the purchased tour package details.

DJ Explore Travel and Tours reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
